Crownline E6 Cockpit & Swim Platform EVA Foam Teak Deck for Boating and Fishing
Category: seateak marine flooring
The EVA Material Properties:
EVA material is a high-density sponge that does not absorb moisture. It exhibits no blackening or darkening even in humid environments. The material has a hardness of around 55-50 degrees, making it soft and comfortable. Maintenance is easy, requiring only common cleaning agents and a rinse with a brush and water.
This EVA material offers high and low temperature resistance, providing sound insulation and anti-vibration properties. It is also easy to replace and install, requiring no additional auxiliary materials. Furthermore, the material is UV resistant, ensuring no color fading over time. Customized services are available, allowing for personalized colors and patterns.
Precautions Before Payment:
Before making a purchase, it is essential to ensure that the boat model matches your yacht. Some ship models may have different configurations and options, so it is crucial to choose the most suitable one. If you are unsure whether your ship matches the drawings, you can send us photos of the swim platform and cockpit, and we will assist in determining the appropriate fit.
If you need to verify the size, please feel free to contact us.
Design Offerings:
We offer design services tailored to customer requirements at no additional cost. We can provide design drawings for you to choose from, and we also support LOGO customization for a fee of $25 per design. The accepted file formats for LOGO customization are DXF, AI, PDF, JPG, and PNG.
Installation Guidelines:
Before installation, it is necessary to use acetone or alcohol to clean the floor and remove any surface wax from new ships. Ensure the floor is completely dry before starting the installation.
Lay all EVA floors flat before installation. When confirming the location, peel off the backing adhesive from one corner and begin the installation. The EVA floors must be fixed in place and cannot be moved once the adhesive is applied.
During the installation process, use round rollers to press the floors down. It is recommended to finger-press the LOGO position in advance to prevent air pockets. If any air bubbles form, use a small needle to pierce them and remove the air.
After installation, it is advised to avoid soaking the floors for the first 48 hours. The easy installation, lightweight, and simple maintenance make this EVA flooring solution an attractive choice.
